Be THANKFUL that you don't already have everything you desire…

if you did, what would there be to look forward to?

Be THANKFUL when you don't know something…

for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be THANKFUL for the difficult times…

during those times you grow.

Be THANKFUL for your limitations…

they give you opportunities for improvement.

Be THANKFUL for each new challenge…

which will build your strength and character.

Be THANKFUL for your mistakes…

they will teach you valuable lessons.

Be THANKFUL when you're tired and weary…

because it means you've given your all.

It's easy to be thankful for the “good' things”. Yet, a life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are thankful for the setbacks.

Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive...find a way to be thankful for your troubles and they can become your blessings.

Though we live in a world with threats of terrorism and disturbing dissension among peoples around the world, within our federal government and even down to the local scene, don’t let yourself become preoccupied with all that is wrong. The spirit of Thanksgiving Day can send the same message every year and every day in that year…God is still blessing you with His love, the beauty and plenty of His bounty, and His forgiveness and gracious gift of salvation.

Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. Psalm 107:1 NLT

And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Ephesians 5:20 NLT

And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through him to God the Father. Colossians 3:15-17
