WHO GOD USED

The next time you feel like God can't use you, just remember...

  • Noah was a drunk.

  • Abraham was very old.

  • Isaac was a daydreamer.

  • Jacob was a liar.

  • Leah was ugly.

  • Joseph was abused.

  • Moses had a stuttering problem.

  • Gideon was afraid.

  • Samson had long hair and was a womanizer.

  • Rahab was a prostitute.

  • Jeremiah and Timothy were too young.

  • David had an affair and was a murderer.

  • Elijah was suicidal.

  • Isaiah preached naked.

  • Jonah ran from God.

  • Naomi was a widow.

  • Job went bankrupt.

  • John the Baptist ate bugs.

  • Peter denied Christ.

  • The Disciples fell asleep while praying.

  • Martha worried about everything.

  • The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once.

  • Zaccheus was too small.

  • Paul was too religious.

  • Timothy had an ulcer.
    AND...

  • Lazarus was dead!

God can use you to your full potential. Besides, you aren't the message; you are just the messenger.

And then He told them, “Go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”  Mark 16:15 NLT

And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father. Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people.  Remember that the Lord will give you an inheritance as your reward, and that the Master you are serving is Christ.  Colossians 3:17, 23-24  NLT

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to Himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to Him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to Himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And He gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making His appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”  2 Corinthians 5:18-20 NLT

And do everything with love.  1 Corinthians 16:14 NLT
