How can suffering be productive in our lives? Jesus loves us, and He wants to be glorified through our lives. But He will not always remove suffering because it can make us stronger and give us a platform where we can glorify God and point others to Him.
Many of us lose confidence in prayer because we do not recognize the answer.
We ask for strength, and God gives us difficulties, which make us strong.
We pray for wisdom, God sends us problems, the solution of which develops wisdom.
We plead for prosperity, and God gives us a brain and brawn to work.
We plead for courage, and God gives us danger to overcome.
We ask for favors, and God gives us opportunities.
Sometimes God will let us get what we want so we will see that it wasn't what we thought it was.
