Many years ago a group of “FEELINGS AND EMOTIONS” gathered to spend their vacation on a coastal island.
Each of them was having a very good time, until one day when there was a warning about a threat of a pending storm and all were advised that they should leave the island.
This caused a panic and all rushed to their boats. LOVE was the only one that did not wish to be in a hurry and lingered behind. LOVE soon realized, however, that the weather was becoming more and more threatening and that it really was time to leave. It was then that LOVE discovered there were no boats left…with hope LOVE looked around for someone to help.
PROSPERITY passed by in its classy boat and LOVE called out, “Please, take me in your boat.“ But PROSPERITY replied: “My boat is full of gold and other precious possessions, there is no place for you“.
Then VANITY came by in a very lovely boat. LOVE asked: “VANITY, could you take me in your boat? Please, help me.” VANITY said: “No, your feet are muddy, and I don‘t want my boat to get dirty.”
A bit later SORROW passed by and again LOVE called out for help; but SORROW answered: “I am so sad, I just want to be by myself“.
Then HAPPINESS came by, and LOVE called out for help again. But HAPPINESS was just too happy and unconcerned to care about anyone else.
Suddenly somebody called out: “LOVE, I will take you with me“. LOVE did not recognize the rescuer, but gratefully jumped onto the boat.
After everyone had reached a safe place, LOVE got off the boat and met KNOWLEDGE. LOVE asked, “KNOWLEDGE, do you know who helped me when everyone else refused and sailed away?”
KNOWLEDGE smiled and answered, “That was TIME. TIME knows LOVE’S true value and what LOVE is capable of…that it’s only LOVE that brings peace and happiness.”

The message of this story shows:
PROSPERITY often underrates LOVE.
IMPORTANCE AND VANITY often do not appreciate LOVE.
HAPPINESS AND SORROW often overlook LOVE.
TIME…Only with TIME does one realize the true value of LOVE.
Don’t wait or hesitate to cherish and share LOVE with others every day of your life. Don’t wait until you no longer have the TIME.
