God's Other Ways

MOTHER'S DAY IS NEXT SUNDAY

Mother’s Day this year is on Sunday, May 8. For sure, you want to let Mom know how much she is loved and appreciated.

One of the nicest things to do is to “bring out the Hallmark” in you, and to insert an appropriate quote or two that is fitting for the Mom you love!  It’s not too early to start planning what to say in the Mother’s Day card you will send!

Below are some ideas of some special wishes for the “Mom(s)” in your life…your grandmother, your mother, your children’s mother, special family members/relatives who are mothers, neighbors who are mothers, etc., etc.

QUOTES FOR MOTHER’S DAY

“There’s no way to be a perfect mother and a million ways to be a good one” - Jill Churchill

"Mothers and their children are in a category all their own. There’s no bond so strong in the entire world. No love so instantaneous and forgiving. - Gail Tsukiyama

“Motherhood is the exquisite inconvenience of being another person’s everything.” - Unknown

“Children are not a distraction from more important work, they are the most important work” - C.S. Lewis

“Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs since the payment is our love.”  - Mildred B. Vermont

“Being a mother is learning about strengths you didn’t know you had and dealing with fears you never knew existed.” - Linda Wooten

“A mother understands what a child does not say.” - Jewish proverb

Mothers are like glue. Even when you can’t see them, they’re still holding the family together.” - Susan Gale

“A mother’s hug lasts long after she lets go.” - Unknown
